After all these years of trying to get (You Folks) to respond to my post here at BlueLewsGroove.com, I have found out that it is much easier to just let you share it, after I post it's URL on whatever social meta that You and I may be on!
That being said...It's time for a new page and this-one will become another one of my "Ghost-Pages" but as long as you have the link it will be available.
Words About The Shed's Closing By: Leon AKA Bob Levison
Many are asking why the Shed BBQ has shut down. Business plain and simple. A greedy landlord who wants another wart on the Destin harbor to start. The SHED was more than a place to work and a place to play it was a family and a home. Nate McGinnis and his Staff are the best to work with and will be sorely missed. Please respect Nate's right to privacy about why or how. Nate is still very taken back by all this and needs time to decompress. Nate knows we are all here for him and his family as well as for each other. As for the Beachcomber Jam, I am sure it will find another home and soon. I bet there is someone out there wanting a great Sunday crowd.
I can't say thanks enough to ALL of our Beachcomber Jam Family Members! It means so much to everyone who is and has been a part of "Blue Lew's Groove" and we can't wait to find a new home for the fastest growing weekly music event on the Gulf Coast!
Also, A Very Big Thanks to, Nate McGinnis and the Crew at The Shed BBQ and Blues Joint for the best damn jam spot we have ever had! Our next venue has some BIG SHOES to fill!!!

As bassist in Blue Lew's Groove it was my pleasure to perform at The Shed in The Beachcomber Jam. I met many wonderful musicians and have jammed with Destin's finest. The Shed provided a creative for many people to perform that ordinarily wouldn't have a opportunity normally to do so. The Shed's family-friendly supportive atmosphere provided by Nate McGinnis and his staff was unparalleled in Destin's hospitality community. My personal heart-felt thanks to everyone: The Shed and staff, Bunky Wonky - The Beachcomber, the Bob Levison family in Systems of Sound, Lew and Nora in the Blue Lew's Groove family, the jammmers who came to share and play, and finally, last but not least our customers and fans who really made the jam the event that it was: Thank you, THANK YOU!

I have attended many Blues jams around the country over the years and The Sunday Beachcomber Blues Jams with Blue Lew's Groove is by far, the best I have ever had the pleasure of playing in ... Nate McGinnis & The Shed Destin crew was awesome & I thank them for providing a venue that made the Sunday Blues Jam possible. Nate & Blue Lew were this first friends I made when I moved here from Muscle Shoals, AL. last year & this doesn't change anything ... While I regret the loss of the Shed Destin & will miss it & the folks there terribly, I look forward to attending the Beachcomber Blues Jam in the future where ever it lands ... The new venue who lands this event is going to inherit a helluva $$$ maker with a dedicated following ... Where ever it lands, I'm there !!!

Nate, and all of the Shed Crew in Destin, Yes, that even includes you (Bob)!!!!
However, It breaks my heart to remotely hear anything negative that has ever happened to such wonderful friends. The Shed in Destin was home to my company, any time we were working in the Destin area, Nate and Crew would go way out of there way to take care of me and my crew. It is rare to find a group of such amazing people, and The Shed will be dearly missed by me. All I can say is that there is nothing that we would not do for Nate!!!!!
Thank you for all that you have done for us.

A Special Thanks To Michael Loftis For Some Great Beachcomber Jam Photos!
We are so lucky to have Michael come and enjoy hangin' out at The Beachcomber Jams but when he gets his camera out, OH MY GOODNESS, he really does know how to catch the moment and is by far, the BEST ARTIST in the room or on the stage, at that time!!
